The Sevylor Fish Hunter series is a very nice fishing raft that you will love. This is the Sevylor for the more serious fisher. If you are serious about fishing and want a watercraft that can get you there, look no farther than the Sevylor HF360, HF280, HF250 and for the Real serious angler the Sevylor Sport Fisher. You can take it to multiple lakes or rivers and have the performance of a nice fishing rig. The fish hunter series has 5 different chambers which makes the boat very stable and safe. With add on’s  such as the protective camouflage boot as shown to the left makes this boat a real contender for a practical inexpensive quality fishing raft.

The 6 person fish hunter

12′ Sevylor fish hunter-Hf360. This Is the biggest model of the fish hunter series. This boat will stay very high in the water so you can go literally anywhere. If you are wanting to go fishing with more than one or two people you should strongly consider the HF360. It has 2 fishing rod holders, 1 small gear bag, 1 battery pouch, plenty of tie downs and grab-lines, 4 drain plugs, and 2 tunnel chambers to give lateral stability and also accepts the Sevylor 12 volt motor. It has Boston safety valves, swivel oarlocks, chafing pads and 2 inflatable seats. All boat ratings are USA standards only, these boats come with a repair kit and are NMMA Certified.

The Sevylor Fish Hunter boat  is a little smaller than what you might think.

Sevylor’s are Kind of like tents the capacity they put on their description and how many people it comfortably sleeps are  two different things. The same goes for if your wanting to put a total of 6 people in the 6 person boat, it is tight to say the least. With fishing gear you would have to sit on each others laps and instead of telling each other what you want for Christmas you will be fishing and after the trip whether you like it or not you will be very “close” to one other(not the close your wanting). If the actual description on the box says that it’s a 6-person boat its a 4 person, if  it says its a 4 person its a 2 person and 2 person is a 1 person depending on how much equipment you have is also another main factor. The fish Hunter does not come with a motor mount, but you can use certain electric motors without a mount. You’ll also need to have a pair of oars just in case, aluminum oars 59″ is the best way to go but depends on preference.

9′2″ Sevylor Fish Hunter-HF280. A little smaller, more compact version of the HF360 with all the same features. Designed for fishermen,  accepts a 2.5 HP gas motor at the stern and the Sevylor 12 volt motor. It has 2 fishing rod holders, 1 small gear bag, 1 battery pouch, plenty of tie downs and grab-lines, 4 drain plugs, and 2 tunnel chambers to give lateral stability. It has Boston safety valves, swivel oarlocks, chafing pads and 2 inflatable seats. Boats come with a repair kit and it has the same optional accessories as the HF360.

The Solo Fish Hunter

8′  Sevylor Fish Hunter-HF250. The  smaller and more compact version of the HF280 with all the same features, this boat has the traditional Fish Hunter cosmetics and is great for the solo fisherman. Special tunnel chambers, chafing pads, two fishing rod holders, 1 extra large inflatable seat, 1 gear pouch big enough to accept the Sevylor 12-Volt battery, Boston valves, oar holders and swivel oarlocks. The HF250 can accept the Sevylor motor mount and outboard motors up to 2 HP, as well as the 12 volt motors that Sevylor carries.
