Sevylor Colorado Canoe Vs. Traditional Canoe

This Sevylor inflatable canoe is known for being  soft and is therefore comfortable and actually more buoyant than hard shell canoes, after all they are filled with air. The seats are comfortable, you can be seated in this for hours at a time and be comfortable the entire time. The main downside is the storage, there is a tiny bit of room behind the back seat which you can fit a 12-18 pack cooler in. All in all, the Colorado is a great product for the money. It is just about the cheapest way to get out on the water and still feel confident  in your boat not sinking. The Colorado will bounce over rocks and  is better than being  hard like a real canoe. Soft material makes more sense and as long as you have a quality inflatable boat  you don’t have the normal leaks when you hit rocks, and it can be dragged on the pavement and still will hold up.

It will make you proud that you own a Sevylor boat.  If you wanted to fault this boat in anyway it would just be that the floor valve is hard to inflate and sometimes one or more of the Boston valves seems off-kilter at times but that really is not a big deal.  There are so many other good things that outweigh the bad things about the Sevylor Colorado Canoe, that it really doesn’t matter.
